Why is the name STICH666 banned as a username choice?

    I was going to make that my name when i signed up but it said it was banned. Can a mod please explain? Thanks.

    ASSEMbler has a couple of filters/banned words on the website to prevent spam. Apparently the filter didn't like something. I'd be willing to wager that it was the 666 too.

    People complain, but it works. Very little spam here.

    I was kinda wondering a similar thing as I beleive i tryed registering with the username dodgeme and was rejected. Never understood that one.
