I see atari mentioned in the description of the pc forum, but why is there no atari specific forum for atari game consoles such as the 2600, 7800, jaguar, lynx, etc. Is it just a perceived lack of interest? I know 5 years ago when I kept more in touch with other atari forums, there were a number of interesting mods/homebrew games, etc to demonstrate that there was modern interest, collectors and enthusiasts in the atari systems well into the 21st century. I was more of an atari guy back then and have moved away from it, but even still, the lack of an atari forum here was always something I noted with curiosity.
I think you've got it. But if you're interested in seeing an Atari subforum, perhaps you should mention it to ASSEMbler or one of the other mods.
I think atari will be under general gaming. We have very little posts here regarding anything other than jaguar.
I'll vouch for Atari Age. It's the best site on the web for all atari related things. They also have a great TI subforum.
