how the fuck can you not notice a dead body on your windshield ???? Even if it had fell from the sky like he though :no surely you'd pull over to remove it at least ?

Perhaps old age has ...taken the best of him? I mean cmon, how can you not know to stop once you hit someone. He even says he thought the body fell from the sky...well DUH STOP!

Certainly he cannot be in his right mind!

I was almost killed by an old woman the other day. She decided to run a red light and almost hit me and my little sister. She stopped right in the middle of the damn intersection...

Always look before going anywhere, even if it is a green light.

    93??? O_O holy f*ck'n sh*t!!
"..crashes thru the windshiled.." - i believe its hard to not notice THIS one, this makes me come to the conclusion that he may either be:

    a) deaf
    b) blind
    c) dumb
    d) cracked all ower - arrrr yerr crackin' granps ! >_<

    Go for your choice!

In any case, 93 is not an age for a driving license, isnt it?

  8. This is the main reason why there in no way in hell I would ever live in Florida... too many old people. I can't imagine commuting to work everyday getting stuck behind miles of Lincolns and Oldsmobiles, all doing 20 in a 65 zone. That, and the hurricanes/tropical storms they get down there make me glad I live in Pennsylvania.

it remember me a stroy that happened 2 or 3 years ago near my small village. A drunk driver hited a guy that passed by with his friends. the driver hited it, an continued for a long way with the body inside the car, a pursuit began, and the police finally stoped it. the guy said a the the Tv that he thought it was a joke (he was still drunk and that was before he sat down in the police car.

Florida is a nightmare. When I last went (about three years ago), there was a wreck at least every two miles on the highway. It's not necessarily the older people, either. I think many of them are just psychotic (no offense, madhatter).

It just the Hispanics and idiot Red Necks who think they own the road in their ricers or v8s that burn oil. Driving in Florida is getting as psychotic as driving in Puerto Rico is. Old people are just slow (as in they drive at actual speed limit) here, whereas everyone else drives 10mph+ above speed limit, including me sometimes:D. I think i cut off a cop today and he didn't do jack shit lol, I did use my turning signal, but it was a pretty tight lane switching.

  13. I completely agree with you there. I drove down to Sanibel Island (near Ft. Meyers) for a week over this summer and the driving is incredibly inconsistent. Tons of idiots in their farty ricemobiles and v8 trucks doing 90-100 down the highway, old people driving slow, and everybody else doing 5-10 over... all during during rush hour. It was an experience anyways... and I did have a blast while I was down there, I just don't think I'd want to have to deal with the traffic every day. Around here, its pretty consistent. Pretty much everyone is doing a solid 5-10 over the speed limit, with the occasional idiot going really fast or really slow.

While we're on the topic of Florida (sorry, didn't mean to bash your state Madhatter) but hows the weather going down there? From watching the weather, the hurricane seems to have blown over. Did you get hit hard by it?

I'm glad the Hurricane just brushed my area by. We only experienced 30+mph winds and rain, but not the heavy stuff. It only lasted thru the morning but by 1pm, it was sunny, breezy, and cool. Took a drive in the afternoon, it felt like a December Sunday.

Bash my state all you want, I don't give a damn. I can't wait till I go to Gainesville, FL, next year to continue with my college degree, it is much better than it is down here.

Was driving my truck last year and some old girl pulled onto the roundabout in front of me, then stopped in the inner lane. Needless to say someone came round the blind corner at speed and killed her.

Then theres the guy in my local newspaper who reversed up the front of a ford galaxy (UK Car with angled front) and his back wheels sank into the windscreen before he noticed.

    It's a joke.

We had in the local paper a while back, the local ex-mayoress managed to turn into a railway track. When the lights were flashing. It's one of the old level crossins where there is only one barrier on either side (so if you are driving on the wrong side of the road the barrier on your side of the level crossing doesn't stop you). There was a turning 50m on the other side, but the silly cow muct have missed the flashing lights, sireny noises that level crossings make....

fortunately someone noticed and called the operator so noone was hurt

  19. Good to hear that you didn't get hit real hard, from how the meteorolgists around here were making it sound, I was figuring on another Katrina only in Florida instead. Then again though, Floridians know how to handle their hurricanes.

Damn right... theres too much opportunity for death. on the contrast for example, last year my friend who is 2 months older than me (20 yrs old) crashed and rolled one of our 18 ton trucks on the motorway. luckily he was fine but its all too easy.
