Hucards are still the best gaming media to date in terms of awesomeness.

And the hardware looks insanely sexy - mint condition white PC Engine is still the sexiest machine ever.

Well, the last time i played a PC Engine was probably 10 years ago (or more).

PC Engine stuff has ridiculous prices down here.

I've never played one, but I have wanted to. But what does OBEY have to do with the PCE?

Woah woah woah. No Turbowhatever talk here. Don't sully the thread, please.

It was awesome in '88 when I first got to play on one. Still awesome now. So few duffers (strategy and hentai aside obviously) in a fairly large library.

I think he said that because the Turbografx designs suck pretty bad

Never had a PC Engine, wish I had one but wouldn't even know where to start with the games.

May be true but turboexpress's design rocks for a handheld...

short answer, he lived in Greece. By the time I was a California resident it was N64 time and I being a kid with a limited budget, retro wasn't really an option. It is now, but I have no funds to spare, no space to comfortably lounge the thing and no idea what I m missing out. That said, I was selfless enough to PURCHASE a title on the VC, just to be on your friends' list =)

I owned a PC-Engine DUO once and loved it. Unfortunately I had to sell it though. Someday I might get another one but you can still enjoy the system with emulators. One of my favorite games is Lords of Thunder personally.

I've never played one either. Give me 5 good reasons to get one and I might consider it. :)

Plus it was all about Nintendo in the late 80's. ;)

I used to have an RGB modded PC Engine Duo R. There's some really excellent games on the system; it's regretable sometimes that I sold it.

If I could get my hands on a reasonably priced minty LT I'd consider getting back into the system. I would however want a Super CD-Rom2 and the seemingly rare converter as I wouldn't want to restricted to just Hu Cards.

Winds & Gate of Thunder are two of the finest shooters I've ever had the pleasure of playing.

When I had my GP32 the PC Engine emulator was the most used, mainly for Star Soldier and Final Court Tennis (think it was called Final Court).

Might pick up a PC-Engine next month.
