Yeah, I know one of my friends dad would say something like "what the FUCK did you do??!!" The guy has a really bad temper:lol: That people is mental, shoulda keep on the antipsychotic pills...
Im calling a fake/on purpose as this video was circulated to just about everyone with a myspace account (Tom if anyone doesnt know is a default friend on myspace and he sent it so everyone one on myspace that hasnt deleted him got it). I think it was done to advertise Myspace TV so people actualy know about it instead of heading off to youtube.
if you saw where my couch is, you would understand. the wall comes in at an L and the couch is veritcal. TV |_ <<wall/corner | << where i sit |_ << couch so it clipped the end as for back of the desk chair, kayla was seriously standing in front of the chair and swung back for the bowl. those are the only times it's happened to me but I'm sure people are fucking retarded.
Only time something came out of my hands and hit something in a video gaming context was a 5lb weight and the corner of my 360. Don't ask. Everything was fine though. As for something breaking my friends 360 started to freeze after 30mn and would run the 3 red lights of death. Took it apart, cleaned out the dust and it was good as new.
my sister hit the tv with the wiimote. it didn't fly out of her hands or anything, she just hit it. i have know idea why she was standing so close to the tv... the first time i played wii tennis with a friend, he was standing to my right and i went for a back hand and hit him right in the chest. that's when we learned to give each other space when we play the wii.
I threw my Wiimote at a bud the other day because I couldn't get any fish in Zelda, but since I have the Wii jacket, it caused him minimal harm.
The actual challenge of Geometry Wars is not to get the high score, but in fact, to restrain yourself from throwing that expensive wireless controller to the ground and shattering it when you don't. And don't even get me started on Pac-Man C.E. That being said, I destroyed a PSX pad because Final Fantasy Tactics made me fucking furious on that windmill battle at the end of the first part. Good thing that after that, I played with cushions around my chair - because then I reached Velius.
I never get to actually break any stuff, but I do get mad at some games levels. Recently, I got extremely mad during the last level of HL2:EP2 where you have to destroy an assload of strikers with those dumb magnuson devices. Seriously, why I cant use the RPG? why I've to use those dumb magnetic balls?
Oh God, I absolutely HATED that part. I seriously contemplating throwing my keyboard out of my window.
And the worst part is everybody telling you "is the best part of the game, you wont believe how fun it is!" BullshitOH: For me the best part of the game was at the beggining of Vortal Coil where you have to shoot the antlions coming from the tunnel, and you can use those kickass turrents too:nod:
I was so relieved to finally be done with that sequence. But the very end killed all feelings of joy or completion I may had.
haha, i'm one of those people. that part was AWESOME. it took me a few tries but you just have to remember where the striders come from and learn the map. then when you get the launching and one-shotting with the devices, it's a wrap. i even got the achievement, too. such an awesome game... the ending... oh man... right after i saw the end i immediately looked up episode 3 to try and find out when it was coming out.
Speaking of EP3, I wonder if they're actually going to release it or if Valve will make that into HL3. After all the original HL2 was about the borealis, and the Source engine is getting kinda old, like almost 4 years already. Is still looking good, but after Bioshock and Crysis, this engine is nowhere near groundbreaking... On the other hand most rumors point to episode 3 being the last one before HL3 is released, so who knows...
I would kill to get my hands on the HL2 beta. The screens reminded me of 1984 and Blade Runner combined into a giant heaping of awesome.
From what I understand, it's a 3-part series... EP2 looked great imo. Especially with the new physics they were doing. The way building would explode and every little plank or board was flying through the air. And the way the bridge bent over when you got the car. Stuff like that looked awesome. But textures and stuff like that need some work. They look pretty bad when you look too close.
Source is getting old, and well I get the feeling that valve will cancel EP3 and release it (with extras of course) as HL3. But it also seems they're trying to keep the current tech alive as long as possible, even if that means being in the last place, behind ID tech 5 and UE3 (BTW UE4 is already on the making).
Indeed, GoW is barely more than a year old, and UT3 was just released, so UE3 is still kinda new. But on the other hand I would like to see valve getting some peer pressure into making HL3 instead of just another episode. In any case we'll have to wait a year or more, unless they decide to release EP3 for HL's ten aniversary this november.
