So I currently have my Wii hooked up to my CRT upstairs and it only has composite for input. I have games such as Super Mario All-Stars for my Wii, but the big issue is there is no 240p output built into the game, making it impossible for me to play the game in progressive scan on the CRT. I was wondering if there was a way to force Wii games into 240p using an app similar to Swiss for the GameCube. Is their any equivalent for the Wii?

Does the game support 480p? If so, just get a component cable and hook it up to an EDTV or an HDTV. It will be much sharper and more colorful than 240p composite. I recommend the Gigaware Universal Component cable for PS2/PS3/360/Wii or the official Nintendo Component AV Cable for Wii/Wii U.
