Wii ISO to RVM converter?

Does a util exist or is it even possible? (any rvm data missing in iso's?). I'm looking to convert the handful of retails I play onto a rvt-h. Thanks.

which SDK are you using to do so?

 

Current SDK is 3.3-P2a.

I don't see any tools for iso to rvm conversion and rvtwriter only excepts rvm, gcm, rpf, dlf, and tpm formats.

When connecting a rvt-h to your pc usb it shows up as an uninitialized 38154MB HDD. I may try accessing it via winhex or something.

 

there is no official tool for that, though someone could make a tool for converting ISOs to RVMs.

the RVT-H HDD might use a RAW/custom file system and even might be encrypted aswell.

You could open it in HexWorkshop and then search for the Wii Disc's magicbytes 0xC3F81A8E.

 

There are 33 instances of 0xC3F81A8E on the HDD.

 

well for anything more I would need to be able to look at the HDD directly but I guess that won't be possible ...

and if you want to run retail games on your RVT-H it would require more work than it's worth.

Loading games from an USB HDD on a retail console is really very easy.

 

I need help with the same thing, except, i need help converting it so my NDEV would run the iso of the game.
