NOTE #1: IF THIS IS NOT ALLOWED TO BE HERE, NOTIFY ME AND I WILL REMOVE THIS THREAD. I recently got this (FOUND HIDDEN IN THE INTERNET). Since there was no thread available ( I SEARCHED!!!!!), and thought this would be relevant to post. SEE NOTES!!!!! RELEASED BY: SYNDiCATE. For those who are unaware, they dumped a huge amount of the wii games from 2006-2010. RELEASE DATE: August, 2006? Manual Pages put this SDK's Creation Date at 08/26/2006. Directory Listing: LIST OF DEMOS AND DESCRIPTIONS: IDK if i can upload this. so i'm not going to. but i'll post pics:
This is full of viruses... If this is the same copy that was floating around the internet then stay away.
guster11: No. this has no GCC with it. there are some vs2005 project files, but those are for the windows apps in the x86 directory. HOWEVER, devkit pro has a gcc base for PPC, so you could use that. laker: no, i couldn't find it. there was a torrent of it, but it didn't allow dht and local peer discovery for some reason. the link to it was removed. HEX1GON: i have avast and AVG installed, and no warning flags came up. i'll scan the directories, but as far as i can tell, they're not infected.
They have backdoors... It depends if this is the same archive that's been floating around for years...
i scanned the entire driectory, the archive files. both antivirus found nothing. i'll monitor it for a little, and if nothing is there i'll deem it safe. more importantly, i need to know if i could up this without getting a lot of flac from people.
if it was, i can't find it. thats why i started this thread. virus total has not found anything in the first of the files. still scanning. OFF TOPIC:also got a PS2 one i'm downloading but the torrent is slow as molasses.
I actually have had this sitting on my hd for a while, but I haven't really looked at it save using darchd to unpack U8 (.arc) archives.
Yeah I never got this working with my NDEV, I ended up finding Wii SDK 3.2 Patch 3 instead and later finding someone that had Wii SDK 4.5. Can someone confirm that this has a backdoor to it? Gave it to a friend in a collection of all the SDKs and I don't want to be responsible if it does have anything on it such as a backdoor.
