Yep, Nintendo Japan have officially licensed these new cool stands that have built in blue LED tubes. Coming in White or Black they actually look very smart. The LEDs get their power from the Wii's USB port as you can see with the cables on this picture. But now I have no USB port on my Wii !! I hear you cry. Well, not that there's any use for them at the moment anyway but you get a nice little flap at the front of the stand that folds down to present a handy USB port. Far more accessable as well than the ones around the back. These stands are going for 2100 yen if anyone is after one. Shipping via normal airmail (No insurance) will probably be about 1500 yen for Europe and North American and about 2000 yen for south America. Yakumo
If only they'd concentrate on boosting their release schedule rather than boosting their pointless hardware add-ons
Why? the Wii is sold out everywhere, theres no need for nintendo to pump new games into the machine........yet.
well for us "adults" with little free time there's already more than enough games on the Wii. I actually haven't got time to play RE4 and Metroid Prime 3 , so I haven't personally started them (although a mate has, on my console). I m currently finishing off the last stars in Galaxy and slowly advancing the amazing Super Paper Mario. Tonight, I ll be hitting some Endless Ocean before I sleep. Excite-truck is the must-play game when friends are around (We take turns, not 2-player games) and Warioware and MarioParty 8 , as well as Wii sports and Wii play are the medicine for when friends want to play together. I m also looking forward to getting a Zak and Wiki, Umbrella Chronicles, Batallion Wars 2 and plenty of other titles. As I said at the start, for an adult who has a full schedule the Wii has got more than enough games to go around for all occasions!
Actually I was trying to mention something that always happen, since it was the exact same situation with Saturn and N64. When both consoles were selling good there was only a few great games for them. Funny is that neither of the two got enough blockbusters in time to change the tide and prevent the market takeover of the PSX.
Nah, Wii has far too many games I want this winter. Dance Dance revolution Hottest Party (out now) Ghost Squad (out now) Bio Hazard Umbrella Chronicles (out now) No More Heroes (out on the 28th) Basara 2 (out on the 28th I think) NiGHTS (out in December) Shikigami no Shiro III (out in December) I've got all the ones out now and the others I'll be buying when released. So for me at least the Wii has plenty to keep me busy and then some. Yakumo
Hey Yakumo, I have Shikigami no Shiro III for the PC, is the Wii version going to be a stright port or is stuff added, better graphics, ect..? Also any chance of a US release?
No idea mate. As far as I know it will be a port of the arcade with stuff added but what I don't know. Yakumo
