Lowest I'd probably do is $300 + shipping

Guys, don't spam the thread with stupid low ball offers that wouldn't be accepted in the first place. =|

I don't think it's fair to say offers in the $100-$150 range are lowball. For a RVT-H with nothing of interest on the hard drive, they're about right (if not a bit high).

They're less desirable than RVT-Rs and they're not easy to use unless you've got the full SDK software. Even then it's kind of annoying.

This isn't even a full kit. It's just a bare console. There is no box or docs. It's also improper to call it a "Development" kit. No one "develops" on a RVT-H. It's just a RVT-R which uses less accessible media. And the RVT-R is pretty much a retail Wii with a different disc drive, like the GameCube NR Reader.

Just because the original asking price was on the crazy high end, doesn't mean that the (quite reasonable IMHO) offers of $100 and $130 for a bare unit were lowball offers. It just means that people were making realistic offers on overpriced hardware.

The only RVT-H units that have sold for anything in the range of the OP's asking price have either been complete (and therefore appealed to collectors) or had some very desirable, unreleased software sitting on the hard drive.

I agree that $150 is not a lowball offer. I bought one for that price and then was able to flip it for $250. It's all a matter of opinion on what its worth. It's possible that the OP was in a need of some cash and would have considered that offer.

It's a low ball since you're offering 1/3 of what he is really asking for with no information to back it up. If you think his price is too high then PM and tell him you've found them for less and make the offer. Don't just flat out post less then 1/3 of the price and nothing more.
