I asked a question similar to this before, but I forgot to ask, If I homebrew a normal wii, is it possible to read these rvt-r discs? If not, is there a cheap way to read these discs without a reader?
Only RVT-R units are able to read RVT-R discs, homebrew enabled retail units are unable to read them. There is no cheap alternative to read these discs on PC, well there is a cheap way but it's not recommend because chances are high you will damage your precious RVT-R discs. @Demon can chime in on this
Sadly. why i offered to dump your disk if you paid shipping. I'm one of very few without rvt-r hardware thst can safely do it. well, one of under 3 people. Don't currently have the drive though as i am away and its with someone. but it should be back before the new year.
