Here is a link(s) to the SDK I was given a few years ago (luckily I backed it up on my cloud drive):

Its supposedly the 4.5 SDK which is in there but I personally found it kind of hard to use. I believe I was using 3.5. There are a few different versions of the SDK in the folder along with a bunch of random Wii development stuff (all SDK related). So enjoy :)

No problem! And if your are using an NDEV I suggest finding the dol2elf converter tool that a member here made. Its in source code so you will need to compile it but you can run it through the CMD and convert a Wii game .dol to a .elf, then run the SDK tool that converts .elf to .dlf. From there as long as your dvdpath is set (I suggest using a windows xp pc and Cygwin, it lets you change your dvdpath) you can run a Wii game from the pc to the NDEV. I tested this with a lot of single layer Wii games and homebrew applications.

Wow, this is very uselful ! Thanks a lot for all these information ! I need to dig up my NDEV to test it. For the moment, I just want to look at the interaction between the SDK and my RVT-H. I am a Wii U developper and I am not very familiar with Wii development.

Where you developping for Wii before ?

Lol no I wish. I actually don't know any programming languages (yet ;) ). I figured most of it out myself and with the help of others.

I used to own an NDEV and want to buy another one soon. It was one of my favorite dev consoles. Luckily their value has gone down in recent years.

And you said you are a Wii u developer? That's very interesting! Do you work for Nintendo?

A guy on here has posted a thread asking how much does a NDEV costs. He may sell it so it can be interesting for you !

Self learning is great. I did the same for Wii U development (I am a "free time" independant developper). I haven't finished my game yet, and I hope that gamess will be easily transposable to the next Nintendo system.

Over the last years, Nintendo has open much more way for independant developper to create games thanks to the Nintendo Web Framework and Unity support. Nintendo has suffer from lack of developper on the Nintendo 64 and gamecube. So they have been looking to attract more developper with easy tools, like construct 2 (an html 5 based game maker, very easy to use, you should totally try !).

Thanks again for the Wii SDK !
