If you're a Wii owner you may want to check out Milestone's Shoot'em up Collection disc. Basically it's just a disc of Dreamcast ports being Chaos Field, Radirgy and Karasu (Corws). Personally I thing Mile Stone's shooters are turd but others will disagree so they must have some sort of appeal.

The price of the release is good too. Under 5000 yen for 3 games!

So the Wii gets a port of Karous and the Gamecube versions of Radirgy and Chaos Field. Hopefully if Milestone have any sense they will do a Playstation 2 version sharpish.

  4. Gonna keep my eye out for this one, too. Looks like it could be a cute side-scroller. (Could also be trash...but if it's cheap, I'll buy it anyways) Anyone know about this one? Looks like a translation of a JP game.

Not quite. This was posted over at shmups:

It's a bargain but it seems to be a disappointing release nonetheless.

I can't see them porting the DC versions over, probably easier to take one GC version remove all the fat so if people want the good version they still need to buy it. I take it back, well done Milestone, marketing at it's best and we know you really don't like those Gamecube / Wii owners that much. Although hurry along with the PS2 version, theres a good chap.

I dunno people complain too much. :D

That game is a load of crap. VERY DULL !! I bought it on day of release then sold it on Yahoo a few days later. An awful game at all costs.

Bah, the topic should say "Shooter" not "Shooting". I was expecting news of Virtua Cop or something similar... :icon_toil
