So yesterday I picked up a Wii U dev kit... I've been collecting games for quite a while but this is the first time I've run across development hardware.

I work for a software company and consider myself pretty tech savvy but I'm having some trouble figuring out how to make this thing work. I assume the box that looks similar to a retail Wii U is some sort of debug unit and the metal CAT-DEV box is the actual development unit. I got the debug box (what I'm calling it for now) to power on and show the config menu and even launch some code that appeared to be on it. Where I'm having trouble is with the CAT-DEV. I'm not sure how to connect it to the debug box or a PC. Do I use the LAN connection or the USB ports or something else?

I have what appears to be all the necessary cables and two DRCs.

Any help here would be really appreciated.

Not what I'd call a long post, but I've approved this one. Actually, (and you would have received a notice telling you the thread was in the moderation queue when you posted it) it was auto-moderated as explained here.

I'd usually say an introduction post first would help... but you did, and it didn't! So just be aware that, if it happens again, we'll get round to approving your post ;)

The obvious answer would be read the manual. If the manual isn't there, it's not really complete ;) I'm sure someone will be able to assist, though.
