Hadn't seen anyone post this yet, so.... In This Corner: Driver: David Stremme Team: Coors Light, Target, Chip Gannasi With Felix Sabates Racing Make: Dodge Avenger COT In The Opposite Corner: Driver: Greg Bifle Team: Roush-Fennway Racing Make: Ford Fusion And The Results? Greg Bifle Finished 2nd out of 43 David Stremme Finished 39th out of 43 Now, let that be an end to the "Wii is better than ____________" Results Don't Lie! http://kotaku.com/gaming/circles/wii-versus-halo-3-at-dover-302321.php :110: Ryan
Yeah but this is Non Atheletic Sport Centred Around Rednecks, so it's meaningless anyway. Hell yeah, the Wii is good at going around in Circles... If it was A1GP or Formula Renualt or GP2 then it might have some merit.
I myself detest NASCAR racing, but I wouldn't go as far as calling RGGG a redneck =p However, It is a motor-sport enjoyed by more conservative Americans in large, I can understand what you mean =) PS: my main grudge against the vehicles is their lack of overall symmetry and good looks. Running the same lap all day also seems a bit boring - I remember playing the n64 version when it came out and I asked myself who in their right minds would buy such a title!!
heh, i much more enjoy looking at the cars then watching them race lol, though i do watch the highlights to see who and what wrecked Nascar's split up into several different divisions, cup, busch, trucks etc.........and believe it or not, some actually do make right hand turns! :110: :110:
Maybe so, but the 500 laps or so are. I find the "sport" to be a huge waste of gasoline and perfectly good mechanics.
I find most motor racing sports to be quite boring, except F1 but its not what you would call "amazing" either... Anyway, what itamazes me is how much the pilots of Nascar cars make: most of them make $5 millions a year, but the rest makes $8 millions and even more. Kinda stupid since current AI systems could drive in those races...
I can't remember the last time i saw an actual pass for position on the track in F1........then again, semi automated racing in 100million dollar cars ain't exactly thrilling either.....put lewis hamilton behind the wheel of a rally car, or in the dakar rally and see how he does! Nascar drivers do make some nice cash for what they do though, starting salary about 900,000, and other "superstars" make upward of 14-20 million per season. The actual racing is indeed boring, I wont try to say otherwise, it's tedious at best, though ocasionally you do see the odd exciting wreck or otherwise. Nascar used to be exciting, but its now no different than the WWE, a "entertainment" and not a "sport" Ryan
At least you'll be able to buy halo 3, even on it's first day. I haven't even seen more than a handful of wiis in stores here yet.
Quite true! I've only come across them twice on my travels, since launch! .....i still feel sorry for the poor bloak who had to bust his ass all day applying thos f&^&%*# decals to that halo 3 car, only to see it wrecked in the race
