    Hello
At the time when the mod chips were around for the original Wii console, I purchased the Wiid chip.
I have soft modded my Wii, but I've another where I would like install the Wiid, but, I've lost the
chip. Is there an outlet that still does the Wiid?. I've searched but nothing.
I hope I've not posted in the wrong section regarding this, but help much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Rich

Any reason why you'd want to chip your Wii these days? Just for the heck of it? :)

^ This? If it absolutely, positively has to be a hardware solution, I suggest getting an ODE instead, that's pretty much the only thing still available, and even then you have to search a bit.

Or you might be able to DIY it - the XenoGC has been open sourced, and all they (Nintendo) did for the Wii was change the magic debug command word into all uppercase, iirc.

The wiid only worked up to d2b as I recall. So you would need to check your other console is compatible.

If it is, you could make your own chiip modchip:

Or, I have some chips still that I could sell you. Think I have wiikey and wasabi dx somewhere.

But as above, you could just soft mod it and install a loader and not need a chip at all.
