Wiikey Fusion on Wii PAL with System Menu 4.3 region specific games?

Yesterday I bought two originals Wiikey Fusion with the SD adapter for my Wii PAL.
My question is: can I play NTSC games on my console using the SD adapter or because the System Menu is version 4.3 I can't play them?
If is the last case what can I do?

Downgrade to 4.1 via softmod
Install priiloader via softmod

Or just softmod and play via hdd anyway, no need for chip at all.

Most people want these chips for gamecube, not the wii as you can play everything from hdd anyway on a wii.

 

For the moment the console is softmodded.
Can I play NTSC games or I need to install priiloader?

By the way, I thought that modding a console using modchips have better compatibility than softmod.
