Thanks to an old BT adaptor I had, Blusoleil and Wiinmote i m enjoying the comfort of changing songs on winamp with the click of a button! I ve assigned 1 and 2 to keyboard B and Z respectively, and + and- are for volume etc. Wiinmote is a pretty nice program in that it allows one to assign keyboard buttons to wiimote buttons, making it easy to be used in Powerpoint presentations etc. These functions work even when you turn the cursor function off(it's not the best thing to be used as a cursor , strictly speaking, since i m using it with the accelerometeres) the bad part is that it drains batteries like hell. I can't see re reason why either, considering the amazingly efficient wavebird. I highly recommend trying the above setup and other combinations in order to enhance your day to day multimedia experience, from the comfort of your nearby bed or couch  ..must find a way to play nes emu with it ><
I have been curious about this ever since I saw someone first posting that they could use their Wii-Mote for the PC. But I am just confused as to what kind of bluetooth reciever I need. Can anyone recommend one? Thanks. :icon_bigg Yeah, the Wavebird was great at energy efficiency. I havent even changed the batteries once! And I am glad to hear you are enjoying it Barc0de!
I had a BT adaptor named 'upspeed'. It was one of those crappy things u can't even find the drivers for it online. I hooked it up, with little to no hope, but to my surprise BluSoleil recognized it. Be aware that although ur BT adaptor might be compatible with BlueSoleil, that doesn't mean that it will surely work with a wii remote. For a list of stuff, i reccomend: http://wiibrew.org/index.php?title=List_of_Working_Bluetooth_Devices Also, download Wiinmote. it doesn't save your settings however, you have to enter them each time (no registry file or cfg file for some reason)
Awesome! Thanks a ton for all the info. More help than I planned on getting actually! :icon_bigg Thanks!
