WiiSports.. I mean Move sports (wii clone) video (new) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cu-A9DfdPFs Still eh. Interesting the colored balls are not all that bright. also if anybody questions the size of the ps3 eye cam. It's getting mixed up with the TV's speaker (which is why it looks extremely long).
This. is. so. stupid. I don't see where's the fun in that at all, I would never spend my hard earned cash on such a silly "wave the controller and pretend you're a knight" shit.
Tell that to the several million people that have purchased the Wii..... The general gaming public seems to have embraced motion controls, going by Nintendo's sales figures. Sony and M$ are approaching this from different angles, which makes it all the more interesting.
Too little, too late, this is just a half-assed attempt to jump into a bandwagon that according to wii sales figures has already departed... Indeed....
In the words of Tommy Lee Jones in the hit feature film Men in Black, "A person is smart. People are dumb."
It's about time someone produces a hardcore gameplay experience which incorporates motion sensing. If Nintendo can't provide it (we're waiting for Zelda), I guess one of the myriad studios Sony has under it's wigs will probably will...
I think part of the appeal of the Wii/Wii Sports/Play/etc are the Miis themselves. I personally prefer Miis over XBOX Avatars and PS3's uncanny valley stuff. btw, did anyone else notice how this TV set is 4:3 instead of 16:9??
May it die a fast and painful death. It can be laid to rest in the landfill next to the ET carts, psp go units, and natal.
I always thought both, Miis and Xbox avatars, are buttugly. They could've been so cute with huge eyeballs et cetera, but instead they created these unappealing monsters I agree, a real great hardcore gaming experience that fully involves motion sensing (or control even) is overdue. The Wii doesn't provide shit so far, I don't consider a little unmotivated shaking here (i.e. Super Mario Galaxy) and another wave there (i.e. Mad World) reasonable use of the given hardware. While both games are great, they still miss to please us with what the Wii's been advertised for. Since Nintendo has died for me anyway, I guess it's on Sony to create a great "real" gaming experience, Uncharted, God of War etc, that successfully introduces motion control to people who are tired of silly Wii Sports.
New video that shows off the whole game. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xdnb7t_sony-move-im-vorab-praxistest_videogames I'm not fully done with watching it but so far, beach volleyball looks the most fun to me (like I'd actually play it, but like wiisports probably only a few times and i'm done for good).
why anyone would play that is beyond me. i gotta remember, i'm most likely not their target audience. lol
Probably the same reason anybody plays Wiisports. It will be free. (the core move bundle includes a free game, pretty sure this will be it).
Yeah well is just a collection of minigames, not a full-fledged AAA tittle like other consoles have/used to have. That, and considering the wii's price is more of a courtesy than a gift
