At last the Wii is now finally getting some great games that don't involve bloody Mario !! Yesterday I pre ordered Special deluxe sets of the following games from Sega Direct. Shikigami No Shiro III - out 13th Dec' NiGHTS - out 13th Dec' Ghost Squadron with gun - out 25th Oct' Plus there's the new Bio Hazard from Capcom to get ! At last some quality for my little white box ! Ghost Squadron looks like the classic days of Sega so that is one I'm really looking forward too ! Sort of like Virtua Cop crossed with Confidential Mission featuring Army Troops. Yakumo
May not be as great as the original but I still think it will be well worth the cash. Better than the shit out now put it that way. Yakumo
My wife wants a Wii for Christmas... she has been hinting since April. <sigh!> Guess I am going to have to go and purchase yet another console. Such hardship! ;-)
I was hoping you would list Shikigami No Shiro III - I will definately be getting that. I am new to the series but I was able to find the terrible U.S. translation of Shikigami No Shiro for the PS2 known as Mobile Light Force 2 and its sequel known as Castle Shikigami II for $10 total at Gamestop.
Mate have they mentioned whats in the special deluxe sets for these games as id be interested in ordering both. This winter has quite a few nintendo games for me, so many to play so little time. Super mario galaxy Nights shikigami no shiro III Biohazard umbrella chronicles Wii fit Zak & wiki DDR hottest party Cooking mama 2
THey sure have mate. Shikigami III comes with the standard phone card and a Sega Characters can badge (what everthat is. No pictures show yet) NiGHTS comes with some very cool goods. NiGHTS figure (First pre-orders only - You should still be ok for one of these though) Spinning Keychain Clear Files Yakumo
I won't pass too much judgement until I see it in action, but I remember a day when a Nights sequel meant I was buying that hardware. I don't have a Wii... and I'm still not getting one. Shikigami no Shiro III is kind of a turd, even if you play it with a real controller. I can't imagine the Wii's digital controls having good enough precision for such a game... much less not having a nice 3 button layout (assuming it has auto-fire option).
I'm going to wait but a lot of things that made Nights a great game like the scoring and chaining are gone, so.... You could play it on a proper system, as the PC version has been out for the best part of a year... failing that they are releasing it on the Xbox 360 too. Hopefully they will see sense and bring it out on the PS2 too...
