Hey guys! I have a friend who is interested in starting developing games for WiiU. Do you guys have any info on how to get a dev kit for this? All the info I came across was simply news releases about the units, and not any official information... All help is much appreciated
Nintendo gives their required qualifications and application process here http://www.warioworld.com/apply/ Doesn't look like they're even taking applications from the hoi polloi for WiiU yet though.
Your friend doesn't have a chance in hell of getting one unless he has a known and established studio. Nintendo also has some pretty strict rules when it comes to even getting licensed for their systems out on the market already (having money isn't enough).
