I don't want to damage it, and I tried to search the net, but I didn't really find anything.

Yeah, works fine, it even says on mine (model NES-002E) that it's "for use with (Super) NES Control Deck only".

I know it isn't exactly the topic, but since this kind of question is brought up I thought I could ask (feel free to redirect me elsewhere if this question has already been answered) : will a PAL NES AC adaptor work with a japanese Famicom AV (the NES-101) ?

No,the famicom outputs DC,it would damage the system.

A megadrive model 1 psu will work just fine on a famicom.

So this one should work then ? That's cool... I've been searching for a Famicom AV for a while, to know I won't have to use some kind of plug adapter kind of makes me want to get one even more.

I just fixed an AV famicom for somebody, using a megadrive power supply gave really bad interference

Fami's are weird with PSUs - I used my SMD PSU and it worked a treat, but used a cheap 3rd party one and it bogged it down with interference. Guess it comes down to the PSU?

Shit PSU is a shit PSU. Nothing to do with the fami being weird. Psus that are cheap or on their way out will cause all sorts of weirdness

I had a weird situation where my famicom 3D glasses wouldn't work with a 3rd party power supply, but did with the official one.

As a general rule, figuring out if a power supply will work is a matter of matching the symbols & numbers on the hardware to the PSU. Look on the bottom of your console you'll probably see something like 10v 850mA. the volts (v) MUST match, the amps (A) must be greater than or equal to on the PSU compared to the console. Other symbols to watch out for are the polarity & DC. If the console has a polarity symbol:

It must match the symbol on the PSU.

You can buy third party PSU's that vary on the voltage and polarity.
