Hi, I am building a new PC to play a lot of new games on. I have heard that the game Watch Dogs runs very poorly on PCs mainly because it isnt that well optimized so thats my main question for this topic. Will it run on my PC? These are my specs: Intel core i7 4770k, 16 GBs hyper X ram, 2 nvidia GTX 760s running in sli, and an ASUS Z97 for my motherboard. I just wanna know if it will decent on ultra without any issues, please let me know. Thanks,
As you mentioned, it's a poorly optimised game, so no matter what your specs are it will probably run in a sub par manner. On paper though, those specs should be sufficient at 1080p. Some of those specs are overkill for gaming though. Ditch the i7 for an i5 and the 16GB of ram for 8GB. Put the money saved into a better card (a single card is best, rather than sli) and/or monitor.
Wasn't this the case with Crysis when it first came out? Was it ever fixed? BTW: I'd say keep the 16GB of RAM; it's never too much
Crysis isn't well optimized, but atleast it still looks awesome. I mean Crysis came out in 2007 and it still looks better than a lot of games today. I would even say that it looks better than Watch Dogs without the recently discovered graphics tweak.
