Will Smith and Steve Speilburg best stay away from my favorite movie

OH they better not.......THEY BETTER NOTOH:

 

Of course they will change the original story to something more family-friendly, and by doing that they'll kill this fantastic movie.

Speaking of killing a classic, look what they did to Oozaru

 

I think Oldboy was a bit too friendly with the family, if you know what I mean

 

Well DragonBall is style over substance.

But Oldboy fucking with old boy would be like fucking with Greek Tragedy's and removing the stuff that make them so compelling.

If they did Sympathy for mr Vengance or Lady Vengance that'd be fine there's alot there that wouldn't have to change becuase there's no need to Change it.

But Oldboy is like a contemporary take on a greek Tragedy or Shakesphereian tragedy. People would be up in arms if those were changed to be more "family friendly" same with Oldboy.

I hope Speilberg doesn't find a writer or that every writer has respect for the original to say FUCK NO to him.

Speilberg does enough ruining HIS OWN Classics......we don't need him runing others.

City of Violence (another Korean Film but not Chan Wook Park) would be good for a US remake. I'd Approve of that.
