I have not seen a PS2 Slim TEST in real life, but some member here have showed us a picture of it at one point, so I'm willing to believe it. So the question is, will Sony make or have they already made a PS3 Slim TEST? Is there a need for it?
Some already exist at SCEE for internal uses or trade show purposes but they have not yet started to ship to 3rd party developers. Probably because they are trying to get rid of their "old" DECHJ stock first
It exists, it mentions it here with some info on all the kinds of test/tools out there DECH-2000(A/J)(S) - Slim line debugger, features a 120GB HDD, HW like the current slim units Read more: http://www.ps3news.com/forums/ps3-debug-test-consoles/playstation-3-test-tool-faq-106813.html#ixzz0ZEJYrJvX Edit: mathieulh, i recognize your name from somewhere, do i know you?
