Will this TG16 LED circuit work?

Hi all. I'm looking into placing three orange (2 volt) LEDs below the logo of my TG16, after removing some of the plastic beneath the logo of course. I plan on getting 5 volts from the middle leg of the 7805 voltage regulator. https://console5.com/store/7805-5-volt-regulator.html

Will the circuit pictured below work? Also, is there a suggested (better/best) place to get the ground from?

 

a) Why have you got resistors going to ground?
b) If they're really 2v LEDs, why not just link them in series?
c) The middle leg is ground, so good luck getting 5 volts out of it.
d) You're not powering it from a battery. Use ground and +5v lines / points.

 

because it doesnt matter if they are before or after. its still limiting the current.

 

I ended up settling for 2 LEDs in series with a 100 ohm resistor. Logo lights up orange now. Thanks all.
