Windows 7 kept blue screening...

I solved the problem, but take a guess on what you think was the problem ;-)

It blue screened only when I got to the desktop.

 

This is complete guess work, as you have not given any of the symptoms or error codes.

 

I've seen most Windows version blue screen for all of the poll options but "Virus / Worm / Trojan Horse (etc)..." and "Windows 7 was just being generally retarded...", and probably other symptoms as well...
As Bad_Ad84 said, if you don't give at least some detail, it could be any of these... even more than one...

I've got blue screens from running too much stuff, but not over heating (just general freeze then blue screen) and driver issues. I've rarely had a blue screen from anything else.

I hope these fall under "windows 7 being retarded"

The same has been happening to me, it will be interesting to see if I'm right as to what the problem is.
