Long story short, I ran Windows Ce on my Xbox 360 devkit (Don't ask me how atm) But then my windows 7 services started crashing and windows 7 firewall came up and keeps screaming new virus found and I am being bombarded with pop ups. FUCK. Xbox attacked my network.
I'm not a Fucking retard and I got it off xbins and ran it on my box using research I have been doing. It ran then attacked my network and it's fucking chaos. I know what I'm doing I was making a Linux alternative via compatible hacking. My pc started auto downloading fake virus protection and links to pornsites on my desktop. I can combat it easily but it is a horrible inconvinience. Task manager is also disabled all this on a win seven pc WTF
So what's the point of this topic? Just to tell us you ran Windows CE on an Xbox 360? Congratulations.. Or is it to try and get you help? Because I'm pretty sure a lot of us know that you would know how to rid of such a virus.. Sorry, not to be rude but really.. this topic is pointless and seems like an attention grabber to me..
The point of this topic is aimed at figuring out if xbox ce is comprimized and I'm not bragging I wanted input not limited to how this is possible on a win7 machine. I will be happy to explain myself when this is over but believe me I'm not praising the fact I'm being attacked that's stupid.
I can't imagin CE raping your network and windows 7 pc, the win7 was probably raped by some other thing you did on it or security wise open like a whores legs. The first post I made was sarcastic, no need to defend yourself by saying you are not a fucking retart.. we all know you all l33t and what not don't worry.
WinCE will not "attack" Windows 7 by itself. In fact the two will play quite nicely together. It sounds like someone may have sent you an attack program, similar to what you and Tyler did to gamecheat. If you're going to run "WinCE" (I'm assuming you mean Windows Embedded CE) on a 360 dev kit, you should be grabbing the shared source and then compiling directly for the 360. I don't know of anyone who has actually bothered doing that for the 360 just yet (it was done for the original Xbox on 4.x build). Since it would be something of an undertaking to get the latest version up and running (not so much from a technical perspective, just a time perspective in the amount of work needing to implement and verify) I would be suspect of any pre-compiled image that just "appeared" without any notice or fanfare. You're going to need to provide more details on exactly what you did if anyone is going to be able to offer help. -hl718
The ce file itself was not infected I obtained it from xbins. As soon as I booted ce my services on my pc started failing services and I was attacked by ave.exe while doing nothing on my local pc. Sorry if I'm coming off strong I have had no sleep.
how could he download it from a porn site? do you mean a torrent site with a lot of porn ads? the two are completely different...
My PC Raped Windows Vista. Anyway, I believe he was implying that sondow downloaded it from a porn site because of the massive amounts of viruses that are known to come from fake pronz downloads.
He was just joking, Anyway I got rid of the attacks, I port forwarded my Xbox to allow NAT to be open I believe its how it got through, I just cleaned my PC. Basically now that I'm typing from my pc what happened was is it auto launched a download when my network was vulnarable to Win7 Smart Security 2010 which is a rouge anti virus and locked down my network and began downloading porn short cuts to my desktop as well as spamming me with 4 other "virus protectors" which disabled my taskmanager and regedit which I got all cleaned up and good to go. I wanted to hold off on the news on the ce because the compatibility with the xbox is still premature and made for xbox 1 and has video issues and freezing problems along with linksbox. I will upload patches for Xbox 1 homebrew so everyone can run their favorate dashboards soon. So far N64 emu runs and XBMC and Unleash X and about 80% of the xbox 1 homebrew runs almost fully without problems. I'll make a thread dedicated to patching xbox 1 homebrew when it is done. I guess some kid on X-S did something similar but not completely to what I'm doing with avalaunch. I'll make patches here in a few hours when I get back and just dedicate a thread to it.
I was researching =/ I was attempting to find a good alternative to Linux for jtags on devs. Exploring possibilities is research.
