I'm interested in trying an explorer replacement or enhancement similar to L's WinXP4L, does anyone know of anything as functional as this for free? (Or does anyone know where to get WinXP4L?) I've seen some other skinnable GUI dealies but they seemed rather crappy. Customizable is good. Maybe I'll just run explorer through a resource editor
New shell, eh? Yeah, I would say Aston but there are others. I remember a 3d virtual one. I tried it, but it was quite RAM intensive. Interesting idea, though - literally having a desktop - or even a room, and items that did things. You'd find info about shell replacements over at Shell City. SphereXP is kinda bizarre. Take a look here. Oh, there's Talisman I don't quite see the point of Chimera, personally. If I remember the other one, I'll let you know
