Hey All, Strange question, but I am trying to locate an ISO of Windows NT Embedded. I have recently just gotten a contract to rework some systems I designed and implemented with Windows NT Embedded, close to 9 years ago... the problem is, my disk is CRACKED, and finding a replacement in a reasonable amount of time seems tedious. Does anyone by chance own such a CD (or can locate one)?
Never heard of embedded version of nt. Pre 4? I have original versions of workstation and server. Noting on ebay? must be $1 by now.
Windows NT Embedded came out after NT4 Workstation and Server. It is similar in nature to Windows NT Terminal Server in that it contains a lot of third party technology, hence the completely new build. If you are familiar with Windows XP Embedded or Platform builder, more or less, it is windows modularized into about 11000 seperate components. You can then build your embedded system only to have what it needs. The project I worked on and am now going to update was a phone switch/contact management server, complete with custom software, and a custom built version of Windows NT embedded. I have found a place that will get me the disk by earliest next week. Anyone on ebay cant be relied upon for speed. The problem is, I needed this yesterday.
