I Need wine for ubuntu, but i cant do the app: Stuff because the only way i get internet is threw a wireless adapter which is in .exe form so does anyone have a link to download wine?
Wine Is Not an Emulator. Thats why it's called Wine. And I have no idea what your talking about. Just download it from your repo if you have Internet. Otherwise, use someone else's internet, and get the .DEB files from the cache.
I THINK he means that his wireless adapter's driver is in .exe form...which wouldn't work anyway, since that'd be a Windows driver.
Ah. Well most of the popular network cards are already covered in some form. You might have to check what chip-set it uses and compile it (if no one else has already done so).
I can't remember what it's called but Ubuntu and similar used to have a wrapper utility specifically for using Windows wifi drivers. Have a look in the network config.
