Man I still suck big time with this game.. somehow I keep losing to people online... is there anybody outthere that sucks too? I want to win for a change will be online later tonight.
No, I'm not adding you because you worked in this game so you sure are very good !!!!! :katamari: Obviously I'm joking.
Nothing personal but with the track record Sony has atm, This game will end up on a blu-ray disc in the future. Hell it's pretty much happen to most major PSN titles. As well SCEE is now even publishing PSP PSN games on UMD collections. Not everybody will use PSN and SCEA/SCEE/SCEJ know that.
The WipEout Fury expansion pack came out today for £7.99/$9.99. I'm a huge fan of HD, and Fury absolutely smacks it. ray: Studio Liverpool  It really is like an entirely new game. When you select Campaign from the main menu you have a choice of Fury/HD. There's 8 new tournaments and the designs for the new vehicles really have to be seen; they're absolutely incredible. I'm still getting to grips with the new game modes, but all seems good so far. There was also an update for HD released on Tuesday which changed some menus and things.
The only thing I don't like about playing this game is my copy is only Wipeout SD. *looks at LCDs on NewEgg* I played Wipeout (original) the other day for the first time in a long time. The controls were... difficult!
I have purchased the new expansion but have yet to play it. I m looking forward to this. The only thing that I wish more for is a new F-zero title. Oh how I miss you F-zero X.
I played the Fury expansion for the last two days \o/ It's awesome! Almost a complete new game, the new gamemodes are fun as hell and the new ship models are great as well. They even put my fav. track from the PSPs WOs into the pack (Amphiseum).
Replace that with F-Zero GX and I'm right there with ya. Anyway, I just picked up the Fury expansion and played around with it for a little bit. It's a pretty awesome update and completely worth the $10. It's really quite substantial.
GX was a good game but the art direction deducts too many points in my book. The music was regressive too compared to the sweet metal tunes of F-zero X. Don't get me wrong, I love electronic music, eg like Wipeout's but GX's was a bit meh.
Downloaded yesterday. Drank one too many Chuhi's while it was installing and passed out on the floor. Gave it a whirl today. Very, very nice. Really digging the new modes. The new tracks are fun as well. Hat's off to Studio Liverpool.
