    Hi Guys,

So I have been given a wireless Xbox controller but it didn't come with a wireless adapter for the console and I have no idea what brand it is :-/ I've attached a picture of it to this post and just want to know if anyone knows what brand it is so I can buy an adapter for it. Also would it be possible to use the DVD kits adapter as a wireless adapter for the controller?

    Thanks :)

Doubt it'd be possible to use a DVD Kit sensor for it. I've seen the controller before, and I really wouldn't bother about trying to find the receiver at all.

I'd go and find a wireless logitech controller. A lot of these 3rd party controllers are junk.

I used to have a wired controller which looked like that, total junk and the white and black buttons are in the wrong place! I'd do as HEX1GON suggested if I were you

Oh okay then, doesn't seem that bad tbh..feels okay in the hands and feels like it would be comfortable to use..I'll be fine with the wired ones I have for now, I just got it for free so thought I'd try to see if i could find an adapter for it :)

However, don't throw it away, keep the thumb sticks :)

Okay, didn't think of that! Wouldn't have thrown it anyway, it can just sit in a box until I need it :)

Komodo's shockware wireless controllers are decent. I have 2 of them and they are responsive and range is good.

You can find them everywhere on the internet.

They share the same button layout as the standard S controllers but the build quality is not the same. But don't worry they can take a beating. I use them for the Xbox in my car and they stay in my car all year long. They take quite a beating because I live in Quebec and temperature over the year range from -20 celsius to 35+.

The only down side is that they take 4 AAAs but they do rumble.
