There's no need to do so, because Microsoft did it already. If you connect the cable on any Windows 7 computer, the computer will install the correct driver automatically.

It's IMPOSSIBLE to use a WIRELESS controller anywhere without a RF receiver for XBOX devices. If you want to test, just remove the ARGON board of a XBOX360 console and try to use a wireless controller with it while connected to a P&C cable. It won't work. All it will do is turn the XBOX ON using the guide button, then the 4 lights on the controller will keep blinking unable to sync.

IMO, Counter Strike with a controller is not good due to the lack of aim assist.

Hi guys, so sorry for reviving this old topic once again, but I was looking into doing something similar to this.

Whilst doing so I came across this which was started by a guy name 'Mike Bee':

    http://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/155459/converting-a-wireless-360-controller-to-wired

While that place was apparently an incorrect to ask, they did get some results or that it was implied and it never really continued. I signed up and tried replying but you need a certain amount of "reps" to do so thus I kinda wasted my time joining :(

But has anyone came across doing this? Or that if that will actually work perhaps??
