Hi all, the title is basically the question. TVs get bigger and so does the distance between you and the display. My problem is, that I tried a few different officially licensed wireless DS2s, but none of them could recreate the feel of the real DS2 from Sony. Don't get me wrong, they are great controllers, but whatever they tried to make them feel "more comfortable", doesn't feel right to me ... some might understand what I mean (there are people playing with the NES controller for a reason ). Now my question is, if anyone tried to make the DS2 wireless? I'm also fine with fakes that look and feel like the real DS2, as long as they get pretty close to how Sony created the case / button pressure points / button texture / etc. Is there anything someone can recommend that fits my "requirements" ? Thanks, iCEQB P.S. BC PS3s are btw no option (sadly) ... the DS3 is fine, but whatever Sony did by messing up the picture quality of PS2 titles on the PS3, killed it for me as an option. PS2 already looks bad on modern TVs, but a PS3 is able to make it even look worse
I think you're better off buying extension cables online. They are already cheaper than the time and labor required to mod the thing.
If you find some really cheap wireless controllers (that actually work), you could smack them into a genuine DS2 housing with buttons ect Fill up the cable hole with an LED for charging indicator There is a thread on here about a beautifully modded PS1 with wireless controllers, take a look how he or she did it
