The Controller to the right is the "Striker Stereo Control Pad" from Beeshu. This is a somewhat uncommon controller, but it is documented on the internet.

    GENERAL INFO:

Note that the controllers are somewhat dusty.

This is a wireless controller for the Sega Megadrive (Genesis in the US) made by "Vision". I couldn't find any information on these controllers on the internet apart from this video of the Vision VJA-360 controller:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPS-lkqMZzs

However, that one is a different model and only has three buttons instead of six.

The previous owner of my controllers is Swedish, as am I, and so is the guy that review the VJA-360 controller, which he bought in Sweden.

It's possible these controllers were manufactured and released ONLY in Sweden.

    FEATURES:

The Vision VJA-393 controller(s) has six buttons. The X, Y, A and B buttons are on the right while the Z and C buttons are shoulder buttons/triggers. It has Turbo and Auto, which emulates the button being pressed down with turbo indefinitely. Every button has the option of enabling this, and they work independently. So you can choose which button(s) to have Turbo or Auto.

It has a switch to choose between Player 1 and Player 2, as well as an "off" position, to preserve battery life. It also has a SLOW button, which repeatedly pauses the game, a MODE button for games which are not compatible with 6 button controllers, and a START button. Those three are made out of rubber.

The back of the controllers have two patches of texture for better grip.

    BUILD QUALITY:

The controllers strongly resemble SNES controllers. The quality of the controllers are very nice, none of the buttons "click" loudly, and the buttons don't travel very far. The D-pad is your average, hard plastic D-pad. I prefer them greatly over the original three- or six button controllers. They feel more like Playstation 2 controllers in terms of button feel and plastic used et.c. They're streamlined and don't have overexaggerated plastic moulding, so you're free to hold the controller as you please.

The highlight of the controller are definately the action buttons, which are extremely responsive. Not nearly as clumsy as Sega's official controllers. Ontop of that you get Independent Turbo/Auto control over every button, as I mentioned earlier. As well as a SLOW feature.

    WIRELESS RECIEVER:

Included with the two controllers is a VRA-386A 6 Button Reciever, which plugs into both controller ports on your Megadrive/Genesis. A red indicator light lights up every time a button is pressed, and it stays lit until you let go of a button.

    MANUAL:

Included also is a small manual in swedish, which tells you how to insert batteries, and how to operate the controller. The two pages are identical.

    How much is this worth?
