    When you say launch team faceplate, are you referring to the one that was given to members of the Xbox team, or do you mean the one given to developers at a recent convention (has the green monsters on it).

    THe green monsters one ive seen a few finish at around $40-50. The thing is some people have been saying they arent official/there are fakes of those about....

    Anyone know anything?

    The launch ones 'with the monsters' are official.

    ...They were 'mainly' used to thank Xbox 360 business 'partners', about 5,000 in all :)

    ebay has a couple listed at 60-65 buy it now, it seems the e3 plates go for way more than the launch team ones and zero hour.

    now, this one seems to be an interesting one imo: (yes i know this isnt the ebay thread, but its related to the faceplate discussion)

    I think people get confused about the launch team partner faceplates with the monsters on as they were actually manufactured by MadCatz under comission of Microsoft.

    Thus they are technically third party faceplates but they are officially authorised by Microsoft.
