Full article: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2...nnounce-the-release-of-a-brand-new-dizzy-game You can play the game in your browser, or dload it for free to play on an NES emulator. http://www.wonderlanddizzy.com/
I remember the original Dizzy games were a lot of fun on the ZX Spectrum - and good value for money for budget games (which tended to be rather dire) But my favourite 'Darling Brothers' memory (They did this a lot...) http://www.worldofspectrum.org/pub/sinclair/games-inlays/n/NinjaMassacre_2.jpg Notice the quote on the far left: "This game is absolutely massive! Ultra quick gameplay and boatloads of opponents - so much action - it's incredible!!" Now that's quite a comment, right? The only thing is that it's 'presented' as a quote from gaming magazine/reviewer, at least to the untrained eye, but its actually the Darling brothers themselves. I often wonder if they'd have had better careers in marketing Hold on... here's are some better ones: http://www.worldofspectrum.org/pub/sinclair/games-inlays/s/SlightlyMagic.jpg http://www.worldofspectrum.org/pub/sinclair/games-inlays/s/SASCombatSimulator.jpg Hard to make out, but you can see the name of the 'reviewer'....David Darling. Genius!
That's pretty awesome! I only just recently managed to get my Fantastic Dizzy cart working on my NES, and it's a TONNE of fun.
