A while ago in this thread.... http://assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4371 someone was asking about the midi port on the Wondermega. There's very little info about it on the net and I tried to find some details of the cart itself - without much luck. Tonight though I'd did some googling and came up trumps..... Anyone care to translate I guess if it is a sequencer then the Wondermega must have midi in and out?
Nope Wondermega just has MIDI out, I do have the above cartridge, although not tried it as I've not been anywhere near my Wondermega, but as far as I am aware it allows you to do three basic things. Allows you to load up MIDI files from various MIDI CDs that were semi popular in Japan during the early 90s. Allows you to mess around with various settings and play these files. Allows you to do basic MIDI playing using a session editor. The Wonder Library CD that is available is just a Electronic Book cartridge... nice huh?
Thanks for the info MD. Did you pay a lot for your copy? PS Did you seee the pics of the official Megadrive Tetris from Yahoo Japand a few months ago?
Not really about 8000 Yen, which was a bit of a bargain. Ah the Wonder Library, not used that either but still would like to get an Electronic Book CD so I could try it out...
Yeah, what's this Electronic Book stuf anyway? I bought the Electronic Book operator for Saturn for peanuts, but I have never seen any actual books. Was it an open standard, and if so, what other devices supported it?
I vaguely recall that it was similar to the eBook stuff that exists for computers and PDA's. Basically, a book in electronic form.
