I saved the picture JUST IN CASE. I might upload it somewhere safer later.

Mapped on half of pts0101 SRAM.
    Fully mapped pts0111 SRAM.

Pins 17-32 match perfectly to 14-28.
The only difference being that OE goes through rompin 27 on 111 and rompin 28 on 0101. This might be part of what enables writing to the flash, as on the rom 28 is OE while 27 is GND.

Don't know what difference this makes yet.
WE also goes through rompin 11 on pts0101. Where as on pts0111 it does not. Again something that likely enables writing to flash as pin 11 is WE on the rom.

You may find interesting this too:

I see all these dumper/flashers for all types of console similar to gb cart flasher. So I wonder if there's a schematic somewhere...

So based on the pinouts. here is where the 4 extra address lines from the 32pin sram should go.

    a4 - mapper14
    a3 - mapper 15
a15 - vcc (of sram) - a15 should be lifted as the pad underneath is WE
a17 - Rom4 (or any rom pin that connects to cart 2)
Of course you could mix and match these address lines but this set will likely be the simplest path.

To enable writing it may be as simple as connecting WE of the rom to WE of the sram + connected OE of the rom to OE of the sram (instead of gnd of the rom).

Successfully separated the glass layers of the wonderswan color screen.
It was actually easy. Hot air was getting iffy so I soaked it in goo gone for 10 minutes. Came apart like nothing.

Problem is that it seems like the glue acts as part of the polarizer it seems. So when I place the under side glass, which is the mirror, it's looks purple.

I also see nothing on the screen itself. Maybe I broke the screen but don't think so.
Doesn't show anything even with a backlight.

Wired up the new SRAM chip. Didn't work with the current ROM unsurprisingly.

Got that one piece game that website was talking about. The LEDs go to mapper pins 4 and 5.

Interesting as on the pts-0101 it goes to 14 and 15. Will need to look into that.

Are write-once conversions actually that desirable? Why not just use a flash cart? Our WS Flash Masta is in testing by some early adopters, now.
There's a little video of it here:

on the pts 0111, some differences are

    m14 goes to r2
    m15 goes to r3
    r48 goes to ground

    where on the pts0101
m14 goes to r48 (and r48 is not grounded)
    m15 goes to r1

need to see what kind of difference this makes

Seems I forgot to post this. Other half of the pts0101 sram mapped. I've written out the 4 additional pins and where they connect to.

Connecting an address line go gnd or vcc means you are not using the whole chip.

It half's the capacity per address line you connect like that.

Just putting this to rest. This project ended up being a success. However, you can now buy pts 0101 pcbs from china now. This is the best option to go by.
