Wonderswans - Expensive in Japan?

Hey Everyone,

Just for fun I did an eBay search and I noted that Wonderswan Consoles seem to be selling for quite a lot. A lot more than I remember. For example, what used to be $60 brand new (and easy to find) is now selling for like $200 dollars. Is there a reason for this? Or is this just another eBay'ish thing? Does the console sell for a lot in Japan these days?

 

Probably an eBay thing, nearly everything import related is stupidly priced. I have a Gundam PS2 on eBay, and someone messages me earlier asking me if I can do better than $300, when all others are over $700 on there.

By looking on YHJ there seems to be a big price gap compared to eBay.

 

Ebay prices are on the rise across the board.

What model did you look for?

 

Wonderswan and Wonderswan Color are pretty cheap at between 1000 and 4000 yen . The Wonderswan Crystal is very expensive. Expect to pay about 7000 yen upwards for one of those.
