Woot! i'm near sure to be a video game tester! what an amazing first job! :happyhap: :happyhap: :happyhap: the only thing that i fear is that it's an english place, you can speak french, but you need to understand, write and speak english very well. no problems for the understending part at all, but i just hope somehow my writen and more particullary my spoken english willl improove just before the interview. rayer: all i need is luck. edit: damn, i forgot some letters in the tittle, that's something i don't want to see when i will fill the questionnary... :ayashi
You're english has come a long way since last year. I have never heard you speak but I bet it is good and very sexy?
Awsome man, welcome to the club. What company might I ask? It's a great job. I love it. Right now I'm on a wrestling game, Day of reckoning 2 on Gamecube, and while I've never been a wrestling fan I must say it's a cool game. The create your own wrestler feature gets abused a lot. One guy made Mario, another made Ossama bin Lauden, I'm trying to create Godzilla but the closest I've mangaed is a funky dinosaur thing with a small head. Just wondering what company as I'm actually trying to find another testing job that pays better. I only make $9.50 and hour. Sega has Los Angeles offices and paythier testers $12, Konami has some nearby and they pay $14. (Unfortunately neither of them are hiring right now.) So I'm trying to get a job at TDK mediactive but they don't straight out tell you how much it pays, so I'm trying to get picture of what I should expect. Anyway.... Good luck and hope you get it.
it's not for a video game compagny, sadly. it's a little compagny called Enzym3, known all around the world (from what i've been told, and from what you can see on their website, never heard about them since last week (www.enzyme.org) ), and they have some contracts with compagnies on every actual gaming platform (ps2,xbox,ngc,gba,ds,psp and PC), and i'll make $8.50 CAN an hour, that's not very hot for that kind of job (since some compagnies are paying 14$ as you said), but it's still pretty cool for me, since it will be my very first job and students are rarely paid over than 7.60 here, wich is the minimum you can be paid for a job (legally) here. and thx for the support all, it's very apreciated. but is it really your vision of me, koolkid?:smt043 cahaz _
Good Luck With the interview. You've got a passion for games, And While I see your english as bloody good, and Even If they don't they should realise that It'll improve if you spend lots of time with other english speakers.
Failure is never final in a language. Anytime you might need some help with Spanish, let me know and I'll help all I can. I, after all, am a Spanish teacher for a living.
Thanks. I almost "failed" Spanish III, but it was probably a poor choice of words I used. I thought it was a fun language, and I may try to get back into it one day.
for a stupid reason i didn't got it.:smt022 i'll retry when that ''Stupid reason'' will have vanished. :-( cahaz _
What happened? You shouldn't be too down on yourself, it's getting rather hard to find a good job. I had to be recommended to get into this place...
