World clock - this'll cheer you up :-(

This is something worth having a look at, however don't look too long or too often otherwise you might become rather depressed. Working on averaging stats, the creator is honest enough to suggest that it is not going to be wholly accurate however it is the rate of change that is most alarming. This is the World clock:

Just noticed the "Life expectancy calculator" to the bottom right of the spinning globe and tried it out. Was surprised how small things made significant impact.

So, here are my stats: 17500 more days of life...... bloody hell, doesn't look like much when written like that. Worse still is that the last 365 of them were pretty much misused. Must make better use of the next 17.5k of them.

Virtual age = 26.1yrs old (Excellent, I am far fitter than I thought as I don't smoke, get plenty of exercise, enjoy life, have a good relationship, love work, don't drink often etc)

Life expectancy = 82.9yrs, although I am dubious of that as my father passed away at 62.

We shall see, or atleast a few of you will, I won't!

I'm REALLY unhealthy, i have a fry up every morning, drink like a fish and smoke like its going out of fashion, so i really wasn't expecting that. Looks like doing what you feel like doing and living a stress free, happy life is just as good as being healthy:lol:.

Hmm.... I was doing REALLY shitty (all my relatives have died in their 50's and 60's from cancer & heart attacks) but pulled through at the end w/ happiness, friends, job satisfaction, and diet. I will probably get hit by a bus today now that I said that.

 

This is a good way of calculating when various games collections will be hitting eBay and AG auctions.
