Apparently we have free speech until the admin doesn't like the topic.

I'm just saying what everyone is thinking. The funny thing is, I agree with locking topics that get out of hand, or get spammed to oblivion. I also agree with banning people who are a pain, like this "S.S. Guard" guy. I just don't understand think that the pentagon thread needed to be closed, there'd been no personal insults and it was a fairly rational, calm debate. That it was closed indicates pretty clearly that there isn't actually free speech here at all.

 

Well i can see where your coming from. Personaly you can always complain and i doubt anyone will censor that. However from the start we never allowed political topics on the forum.

 

Well this isn't really a public forum to truly speak your mind. He owns it, he can do what he wants with it above all. That thread was starting to get out of hand. It wasn't worth digging up all the posts I did about this conspiracy in other forums and put them on here for the debate, so I just stopped replying and then it got closed. That thread was more controversial than political.

However, I think certain topics are ok. It helps to get to know each other a bit more. Its all about boundaries and I think we are still trying to figure out what our boundaries are .

 

Ok, appreciated. Fair enough, it's assemblers forum, and we're all grateful for his continued running of this place. I just think the management (mods included) either need to say "we aren't locking threads" or "we are", otherwise it seems unfair.

 

No link between Marijuana and lung cancer. Not exactly the most shocking of reports. Even if it did, it's not like heavy dope smokers smoke 40 joints a day.

 

There was a study that the only way you can OD on MJ is if you smoke 30pounds of it in under 4 hours.

 

Medically less toxic than paracetamol, was the statistic I heard. Not sure if that's actually representative of anything. It certainly doesn't cover long-term brain damage, I know several people who've gone off the rails after smoking too much weed for too long a period of time.

It always seems to me that people who don't smoke weed tend to massively exaggerate the damage, while people who smoke it all the time say it doesn't damage them at all. The truth is probably somewhere in between.

 

Like Alchy, I've seen the effect that smoking large amounts of weed for just a few years has had on old schoolfriends of mine. The idea that it's as or less harmful than tobacco is absolute rubbish.

 

Take it from someone that smoked heavily for years:
People who have visible efffects after smoking pot for a few years already had some type of defect, which you would've seen anyway. You'd be surprised just how many heavy smokers are out there. I'm not saying that it can't do long-term damage to people... but I think on average it doesn't.

Tobacco though, is evil, people. That shit just completely fucks your lungs and throat up, not to mention make you smell like shit, and damage the health of people around you... unless you're taking it white trash style (dip/chew). Trust me -- I've done both amply. Fuck those cigarettes. Wish I had never picked them up (haven't had one in 2.5 years though).

 

From the look of that flash the Pentagon looks like a run down old apartment building. I mean is that sappose to be our last area if the earth is wiped out in a cold breeze. A new Atlantis??? for the last stance of human ?

Also yes that flash makes it seem that hey they landed the plane and then bomb the "Pentagon" after drawing some holes into the walls. Also the FBI confiscated all the video from any source along with the proof of any evidence or something else.

This also proves my fathers words of how they did it and it was all a setup by the Bushes/ Skulls and Bones.

 

That doesn't "prove" shit. You need to go look up the definition of evidence versus opinion.

Looks like bad times ahead I guess. Seems like Israel is about to kick off a war in the Middle East while North Korea stirs shit up in the east. And we have Iran and Syria to worry about now too.

I doubt its going to be WWIII as a lot of people are saying... or the end of the world... but dammit I just wish people would calm the fuck down.

 

The next time you are flying and someone keeps bothering you in the next seat, just pull out your laptop and go to this website (making sure they see it) This will keep them quiet for some time. Not to mention scare them shitless....
