umm itchy? The kit just got rrod 0001 >_> i believe this might be the source; a wire that came loose and took part of the board and component with it..

What this wire does, I have no idea... but it seems to be causing a problem. The point on the board also seems to have come off with the wire so I can't just solder it back on :(

That looks to be added by somebody. Was the kit opened when you got it? Either way it doesn't look to have lifted any traces and should be resolderable.

I believe it has been opened before, as there looked to be some repairs on the board. Anyway, if you look really close at the picture you can see when the wire came off, it took a little part of the board (trace) so i cant really solder it :banghead: let me take another pic

It seems somebody did a repair to the unit and maybe in transit it came loose.

this guy here made a Tut just in case you can solder,
IMO that´s the easiest way to do it (although it´s still pretty hard to do, I already did it myself, but the trace I repaired was about twice the size of these)

    Good Luck!

yea you are correct. I might be able to try a trace repair, but I have never tried that before and would like to speak with itchy before I try anything, to find out whats going on

the console 100% sure not chinase waste unit, this never was in china
except of the manufacture, i was got in this condition this is the only
kit which one was come with an weird resistor inside of it and an wire
around the power connector. i think maybe it was an hardware development
kit and the connector changed after the near manufacture?!, the solder
maybe broken in the transit, here a pics if you solder it back there

If the trace IS lifted (which it already looks to be) and it does work on that point without fixing the trace you'd definately want to seal it with something.

It didn't work, as the trace is lifted. I tried soldering to the other end of the resistors point, but of course that didn't work. What do we do now

Try what Gelberhase suggested. Looks very complicated but do-able.

    Try this should be work:

    http://img824.imageshack.us/i/xbox360revisionsxenonmo.jpg/

Power connectror number 7th leg is for the power supply wake-up. For wake-up the power supply you need to send out 3,3V. This is an 3,3V Stand-by source, great for wake-up the power supply, and than your 360 will be work fine.
