why do they remove this? because is unreleased or because of the price...? if is because of the price i dont get it.... that eurocope soccer ball was alot more expensive...
I think there is a rule about no beta games. Or maybe its the fact that its on GD-R and ebay considers it a fake copy
i once listed chipped DC on eBay and it was pulled so I changed the description and relisted. guess what they didn't bother - didn't sell though as idiots from supposedly in Fiji after won the auction close the account... had similar thing happened about dozen times since and that's why I don't sell on eBay any more... got bored real fast deleting bids from "zero" feedback buyers... i know anyone has to start from somewhere but I think eBay should have system in place so when someone register their actual whereabout has to be checked before approved - if this means credit card has to be used then so be it... cheers
eBay does have a policy against listing beta software in any form, which is why a lot of times legit beta items will be pulled. And I'd agree with dj898 on the checking of people's whereabouts - in my opinion, if it means I can trade safely online without fear of items or money being stolen in some scam, I don't mind a bit of invasive checking by some entity to verify that the people I do business with are clean.
When I registered, they asked for my CC, or I think it was when I wanted to sell an item, but changed my mind. Anyway, I think they do.
i think that's only when you are registering as seller... for buyers don't think there's need for c/c... well at leaset wasn't asked when I register with eBay... when I listed items yes it did ask for c/c anyway then what avenue do you have if the buyer does not pay for the item apart from reporting non-paying bidder... and get the listing fee credit... I even tried private auction but then I think they charge more for the private... either way eBay makes things hard for sellers when things go wrong... they are quick on outstanding fee from sellers though maybe they need some kind of restriction for buyers with less than, say 10 positive, before allowing to bid for an item at certain value or something... cheers
Nah. They shouldn't have something like that. I have 3 rating and all are positive. The only proof I have that I'm legit is my verified paypal.
my point was the anus shouldn't be on sellers' shoulder. do you think you can check every bidder's feedback and paypal status when the bidding war started? what if some idiot with feedback zero outbid genuine bidder at the last minute and disappeared? it took time to get the listing credit back and it's quite a hassle as you have to wait for certain number of days - think it's about 2 months. it wouldn't matter if the auction was for, say, $10 used game but when it's $200+ item it's different story mate. what if the end price is $1000 and the bidder disappeared? i'm not discourage genuine buyers but eBay should have some kind of system in place to police the idiotic behaviours of buyers as well as sellers as some sellers are obviously out to scam n00b buyers - remember that infamous xbox box auction? as an auction site eBay always carry the risk but the prevalent of those zero feedback buyers popping every where nowadays is just ridiculous... i won't even go into numerous e-mails supposedly from eBay warning my account will be suspended unless I surrender my account password and while I'm stupid enough doing that might as well surrender my credit card details. social security numbers and etc. cheers
