Its mostly just a concept/curiosity but, mobile games don't really require to much processing power right? i mean, once you get past all the graphically demanding high resolutions and the immense shading and really all the polish on the boot, mobile games are relativity low-tech right?, so shouldent it be possible (if copy write wasn't an issue of course) to port a lot of Sega's mobile games ( sonic dash, sonic runners, sonic jump fever, maybe even the mobile version of sonic 4 lite and the gimped version of sonic racing transformed) to be ported to the dreamcast with relative ease? im not much of a strong programmer myself, nor to i know TONS about technology, so im just asking if this would be a possibility, who knows? maybe a skilled Dev. team could ask Sega for permission to do this if it was possible, i just wanted to know and thought maybe someone could answer this question for me and anyone else that has it ( also, sorry if i posted this in the wrong forum, if i did, could you please point me towards the right one?)
Maybe mobile games about 5 years ago. But now the new iphones have at least a gig of ram and quite the cpu. So it depends really by what it is But if you have the source code you can port it to whatever platform. But without that its pretty much impossible
