QJ.net posted this article, which apparently comes from the april issue of OXM I'm not sure if this is true or not, as I believe its nothing more than an april fools joke (Duke Nukem Forever is on the list however) However if it is true, than that would be pretty cool Ryan
DNF is real. 3dRealsm were looking for a staff last time i checked, for a 360 project with DN involved
I remember that, but i dunno, something about this article smells fishy, like 3 week old rotting fish fishy Then again, many things have surprised us before Ryan
WoW has been confirmed as a PC only title several times by Blizzard. I would say unfortunately, but I hate WoW for being so repetative and simplistic, though it seems well suited to become a console game (and I don't mean that to sound as condescending as it does! :lol
WoW as it is is PC only, but there's no reason why the existing codebase couldn't be used to create a variant of the game on the console...and given Live + X360 + headset + optional keyboard you'd have a very compelling reason (lots and lots and lots of money) for Blizzard to consider it. -hl718
Of course it would be a big money maker, but Microsoft would control the servers and take a sizeable amount on the deal. Also no guarantee of a HDD. The PS3 would be more suited, but I doubt they'd get a big enough audience with that console.
By the time the Zephyr hits the market, I think MS should give away 20GB HDDs to Core users who don't own up for a reasonably low price, just to set things right. As Taucias mentions, it was a step backwards to make the HDD of all things optional.
Cool, I didn't know that about EA games. The XBox360 would certainly be a good candidate in that case then, assuming they allowed a keyboard to be used.
WoW players are pretty psychotic about their addiction to the game. If you told them "You can play WoW on the X360, but you need the HD," they would be LINING UP to buy the damn thing. Hell, if it came with a WoW LE faceplate MS could probably move all of its 20GB HD stock in a weekend. -hl718
uhm wow azeroth adventures isnt that the killed adventure game in monkey island style or do they mean the wow mmrpg with that ?
Warcraft Adventures was a bad attempt in using the Warcraft IP in a point and click adventure game. The game sucked.
I would much rather see an Everquest 2 conversion for the PS3 than WoW on my XB360. I'm surprised nothing has been announced, though lack of RAM is the main problem I'd expect, on both consoles.
