Gee, is anybody else experiencing difficulty loading the site? After waiting for half an hour I finally got it - man, those watches look the business. And I think they're not very expensive, after the above post I figured they'd run $700 or something. Still, I'd want to see one first, to gauge the quality, before buying.
Tokyo flash is pretty old, but a goodie. The watches they sell are mint, ive use them before they are very recommended if you want a conversation starting watch. Thing is they go out of print pretty fast & after that you have no chance as each watch has a limited run. So if you spot one you like its always best to pick it up now.
Yeah I posted this in the Japan section a while ago. Lovely stuff. I have a couple now and while I do think they are great value for money, it has got to be said that the finish they put on the steel is not as good as it could be (the steel is very good quality though). I had a mate of mine who usually works with silver and gold polish the steel of some of them. So I would say the reason they are relatively cheap is because they are all entirely machine made and not hand polished - like steel should be. Anyway, the only way is up. May I present the coolest thing in watches - watch cases. Started by Chrome Hearts, but loads of ppl are doing them now, even BWL. http://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/100091983 http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n57644560 http://page19.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/x16579706 http://page3.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/c110430808 So I might break out a vintage omega and pop it in one of these cases.
I thought it said Wow witches, so I didn't click it. Those watches are cool but not exactly the easiest way to tell the time, plus watch or games. Hmm not a hard choice there... I'll stick with my $20 watch, which I only bought as it has a cool colour LCD backlight which reminds me of Spitball Sparky.
