Hi, question for anybody that might have an answer

Anybody on this form know how to write GCM or RVM files to the RVT-H unit?
The software keeps giving me a DATAFILE ERROR when I try and write the images. I have no idea whats wrong with my images at all. All my GCM images are 1.35GB total and Wii are 4GB+

If anybody has any info on how to correct this please PM me back

    Thanks again

    Viper

I vaguely remember reading that your disc images are wrong or something.

Did you try to "rebuild" your image with the Wii SDK ?

uhm does an RVT-H even support GameCube games?

Also note that the games must have the exact size, otherwise it won't work
Wii: 4700012544 or in hex 0x118248000

RVT-H can load RVM, GCM and RPF files. Some update disc for the RVT-H are GCM Images.
When you create your DDF file you have to specify what kind of "hardware" you want to use, RVL or GC.

also note that filename extentions might not really be correct i.e. you get the update discs from nintendo as .GCM files but those are not at all GC ISOs!
    It's a bit of a mess ...

I note that too for Update disc (menu and system).
Maybe GCM created by GC sdk cannot be used on Wii hardware. And that explain my question to Viper. Did he try to "repack" his data with the Wii SDK.
